FearlessRiOT’s Top 20 Songs of the Week! [Dec. 4, 2015]

It’s officially the final month of the year, and as such, I have a busy next few weeks planned. In addition to the weekly Top 20 Countdown, I have a couple of Christmas stories coming on my other blog and a few Year-End Top 10s coming on this one. So it’s only fitting that I have a soundtrack to listen to while working on all of it; and kicking off the month at the top of the soundtrack is Adele, who earns her third #1 on this countdown with “Hello”. Sure, she’s out there accomplishing even bigger things in music, but it’s nice to have her back on top here. This drags Ellie Goulding down to #2 and Lauren Alaina down to #3, while Drake breaks into the Top 5 with “Hotline Bling” at #4 and Alessia Cara once again remains at #5 with “Here”.

Elsewhere on the countdown, Selena Gomez has the biggest mover of the week while Bring Me The Horizon has the biggest dropper. The Girl and the Dreamcatcher crack the Top 10, marking Dove Cameron‘s third time in the Top 10 this year (once in a collaboration, once as a fictional character, and now once in a group; what a debut year she’s had on the Top 20 Countdown). Also, we have two countdown debuts from The Struts and Sam Hunt.
