FearlessRiOT’s Top 20 Songs of the Week! [July 16th, 2016]

Don’t adjust your computer screens; we have not gone back to the 90s. You are indeed reading this correctly: Garbage and Red Hot Chili Peppers have the Top 2 songs on the FearlessRiOT Top 20 Music Countdown this week. Shirley Manson and the boys hold on the #1 spot for the second week in a row with “Empty” while Red Hot Chili Peppers rise to the runner-up position with “Dark Necessities. Because of this, the final three songs in the Top 5, “One Dance” from Drake (#3), “The Fighter” from In This Moment (#4), and “Love Is The Name” from Sofia Carson (#5) are all down a spot this week. The Top 10 also includes “Can’t Stop The Feeling” from Justin Timberlake (#6), “The Sound of Silence” from Disturbed (#7), and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover” from Adele (#10). Also, it’s kind of a good week for Fifth Harmony on the countdown this week, as “Write On Me” cracks the Top 10 at #10, but “Work From Home” (#8) also becomes the 71st song to make it to the coveted 20-Week Club, and the first song by a pop girl group to last this long.

Biggest Mover: Florida Georgia Line
“H.O.L.Y.” (Up 4 Spots).
Biggest Dropper: BABYMETAL
“Karate”, Kent Jones “Don’t Mind”, Ellie Goulding “Army” (Down 2 Spots)
Countdown Debut: Pop Evil “Take It All”
Other Notes: “Work from Home” by Fifth Harmony Ty Dolla $ign joins the 20-Week Club.
